go for it? Pass on it? price is $749.
there is just one picture. Condition listed as being in "excellent" shape.
It LOOKS ok, but these are like $1400+ new, so I am wondering if it may be a lemon, or a hidden gem?
    what do you think?

I heard Laklands are good. What the heck, money-back guarantee and stuff right?

Yeah, but I think in this situation if I buy it, but don't like it I am stuck. The only way I get to return it for a full refund is if it is not in the condition it is described as. With new stuff I think you can return for any reason.

Laklands are great basses. I use a 55-02 as my main gigging bass. 55-02's used are typically in the 900-1000 dollar range so 749.00 for a 4 string is a good price.

Best thing to do is go play it. Turn the knobs make sure everything works, maybe even make them turn the truss rod so you can see it works.

Great basses. If it isn't screwed, do it.
