used Elrick New Standard Jazz 4 string Bass

    35" scale 2 octave neck, 18v pre.

    simple woods.

    yep, thats my bass! they must not of updated their pages this week. great deal, great to deal with Bass Northwest. and it is a great bass. took me a few days to set it up just the way I like it, but I have it just right now..... its got an incredible neck, great tone, and fantastic playability

    :cool: "New Standard Jazz" is the style of bass.... Rob Elrick's not so humble way of saying that he has evolved the Standard in Jazz basses. (I would tend to agree with him)....he continues on that line of thinking with his latest style of bass: the E-Volution

    Actually it's NJS or "New Jazz Standard". I agree that it is an evolution of the standard-bearer. OTOH the standard still stands quite well IMO;)

    I own and love both for what they do.

    was the heading for that particular listing, correct or not.

    very nice looking bass. i'm lovin' straight ash bods more and more these days.
