I've seen a few in the Bass Centre in London.

  6. That's where I got mine. Great price too! I traded it away this weekend, and the trade in value I got was enough to pay for my plane ticket.

oh well. i'm sure you had a good enough reason.

    ;)

  10. What I meant was...when I traded it in, I recovered the amount I paid plus enough cash to pay for my round trip ticket to London. Pretty good deal for me.

And the reason...begins with an F and ends with an A.

ok dude im in hotchickland, where are the exact directions to bootyville? Im fairly sure in such a great place the beer flows like wine and u can pick up a wal in the hundreds of bass stores lining the streets.

Ok, the directions...go southeast on the Fender highway until you find exit 81: bootyville. then take a left on freeporno road until you come to a right hand turn on candy cane street and take a left on free bass road. keep going down it a you should run into bootyville.

    :D ;)

  14. Funky -

i'll bite - I need to hear the full story. I'm so brain dead right now, the only two possibilities I can come up with are :

    a) you somehow were able to gain a private slap lesson with "Flea" or,
    b) you discovered a wonderful purveyor of "feta" in the UK.

what's the true story? do tell....

I'm not sure, but I think that it might involve an 'ODER' in the middle.;)

  16. I think Embellisher might be right!!

Mine should be done in three weeks. Ordered it Sunday night.

  18. I didn't pay extra, so I've got about a month and a half left on the one I'm buying. I didn't get the cUsToMe eLeCkTrOnIcKs, so you'd think it'd be quicker. But it ain't. Oh well--guess I can't play jazz yet.

I paid extra to not get the cUsToMe eLeCkTrOnIcKs upgrade. I've also decided to go with the new 6 - 1 setup (6 string bass, D string missing) because I think it's cool to have a six but I'd rather have a five and this one time when the D string broke on my other bass (Atlantasia I found at a yard sale) I played a really cool solo so I figured I'd keep that set-up. I'm going to tune it EIEIO just like my favorite band Notda-Mama.

For an extra $50 I could've had it here today. Live and learn.

BTW Jazz is easy... just play notes you wouldn't normally play, over and over again.
