    I'm a dork!

I just saw that I have 2 sets of 5-string Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings (the lime green pack). I play a 4 string Sterling! Seeing as how I can't exchange them now (no receipt, been too long too), would I be able to use them on my bass anyway? I'd use everything but the B, of course, but the gauge escapes me now. Might it be too light a gauge? I usually play with .105s; I think the E in the 5 string pack might be .100.

    Anyone want to trade??

    Or maybe I"ll ebay 'em...

  2. You can definitely use them, but selling them might be a good idea, especially if they're brand new. You have to pay extra for that 5th string so don't let it go to waste I guess.
