Using Aguilar OBP-3 with stereo bass?

I recently added an OBP-3 onboard preamp to my project bass, a 1989 Carvin LB-70. The bass was originally wired for stereo using two seperate output jacks, which I continued to use when I replaced the pickups and preamp with Model J + passive setup. When I added the OBP-3, I just wired it all to the main output jack.

I am wondering- is there any way to wire an OBP-3 so that it will work with stereo outputs? I currently have both pickups go through a blend knob which puts out one output into the preamp, which in turn has only 1 output to go to the output jack. So there would have to be a way to input 2 seperate signals (each pickup seperately) into the preamp and then output those 2 signals seprately to two seperate output jacks. My assumption is that this is not possible (unless I installed 2 preamps!), but I figured I should ask some opinions first.

If this doesn't work, I will wire it using a closed circuit output for the second jack- so that when a cord is plugged into the 2nd jack, the signal from the bridge pickup will bypass the preamp and be fed passive to the 2nd output jack. When there is no cord plugged in, the bridge pickup will blend with the neck pickup into the active preamp and then into the 1st output jack- the same as it is now.

I would love to be able to utilize the preamp for both outputs on stereo mode though, as my other wiring plan would also have to bypass the master volume control on my bass when a cord was plugged into the 2nd output jack (at least for the bridge pickup).

I hope that I put across my question/ ideas clear enough, its always hard for me to verbalize these sorts of things without visual examples! I'm doing this to create a stereo rig with a Mesa 400+ and Ampeg 8x10" on one side being fed the neck pickup signal and a Mesa D-180 on the other side fed through a 2x12" cab with the bridge pickup signal. My feeling is that it will blow the clubs to the ground!:bassist: :bag:

    Thanks in advance.....
