    Greetings -

I've just ordered an Essex SX SJB-62, and am curious if I can use my Cyber Twin as a practice amp, as long as I don't crank it up too much. I'd rather not spend the $$ to buy a separate practice amp for the bass, and don't need a gigging amp at this point.

    Thanks -

It should be fine. Like you said, just don't crank it up or turn the lows up to 10 or play it all day long.

i had a guitar tech explain the difference in speakers to me. Long story short is as long as your not playing loud and its not an active preamp you should be great. Be careful though any volume at all and u risk blowing speakers. Just know that going into it

Well, I got wise and bought a Bassman 25, and also bought a used Peavey Cirrus 5, so I'll probably send to Essex back (or not - if my wife doesn't freak at me having two basses when I don't even know how to play).

So, the CT is safe. Thanks for the advice.
