Using EQ pedal at end of big pedal chain?

    Hey, folks, I'm running a pretty big board, about 12 pedals (I am using a buffer), but after some testing, the signal at the end of the chain isn't as bright/clear as it is at the start, which, from what I've heard is somewhat common. Do any of you put an eq at the end of your chain to brighten it back up, again? Or a pedal that does that, specifically?
