Using extended cabinet thru effects loop

I want to use my SWR WM's 12 as my main amp and carry with me my Nemesis 15 combo when needed to use as an extension cabinet. I know it can be run thru the effects loop if needed. How exactly is this done? Is it just SWR out to Nemesis in and Nemeis out to SWR in? And do I need to use speaker cables or instrument cables?

Additionally, my Nemesis has a "Speaker Out" jack for extension cabs. Probably a rhetorical question but can a speaker out be used as a speaker in?

To slave the Nemesis to the SWR:

SWR effects out to Nemesis effects in.

Depending on how the amp is designed, it may NOT be safe to use the extension speaker out as a speaker input. On a Nemesis, the extension is a series connection. Using it as an input probably will not work.

Do I use a speaker cable or just an instrument cable to and from the effects loops?

    Thanks again.

instrument cable. only use speaker cable to go from speaker out to cabinet or cabinet to cabinet.
