I have a MIA Fender Pbass with a through-body bridge. Does anyone know if you can string flats through it?

Yes, you can. As far as brands of strings that fit: Fender, Lakland - I've also used Thomastick and Labella but I remember having to shave some silk off of the Labella's, maybe the Thoms's been awhile.

Regardless, I recommend Fender flats - Cheap, high tension, amazing tone.
