Ive recently become interested in putting a 5 string hipshot tremolo system on a bass Im gradually building. Its a floating bridge that uses 3 springs, and hipshot says it stays in tune, but I dont know. If I do decide to put a hipshot on my bass, am I able to use (or convert for use) the schaller sure claw, or the hipshot tremsetter to keep my bass in tune? Also, if anyone can tell me how well a hipshot stays in tune, I would appreciate it very much.
