This may be a dumb question but is it safe to use only one channel of a power amp?

The manual for mine is pretty unclear, and kinda hints that it needs a load on both channels to work. As long as I keep channel 2 on zero I'll be fine, right?

If it's a tube (valve) amp, then running it without a load connected to an output may cause damage.

If it's a solid state amp, then it won't be damaged by operating without a load.

Cool thanks. It's all solid state so I think I should be fine.
