Using PODxt PRO with Eden Preamp

    Hi All,

I have ordered a PODxt Pro to use as a rackmount effects unit. However, I am unsure how to run it with my existing Eden WP100 Navigator pre-amp. The POD manual describes many different input/output configurations but not this one. My guitar player figures I would have to run my Eden in the effects loop of the POD and the POD's bypass mode to run clean. That sounds crazy to me.

The eden has 3 different ways to run effects through it - parallel stereo, a side chain effects and a mono pre-tone loop. For those who are curious here is a link to the WP100 manual:http://www.eden-electronics.com/info/manuals/pdf/WP100MANUAL2003.pdf
    and for the line6 manual:

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

i don't know what would be the best option for you, but i'd put the pod after the navigator if you only want it to be a effects unit, or in the effects loop. i suppose most of the people would do it otherwise, but i prefer shaping a bit my sound and then modulate or distort it as much as i want.

you can check other players' rigs to see how they do it though, and start from there.
