I've been looking for a guitar preamp for recording and such at home, and I was wondering if the ADA mp-1 (not the mb-1 bass model) could be used effectively for bass as well without any modification. If not, can anyone point me toward instructions on how to have it "rewired" the way Les Claypool did? Or is there any easier way, such as using another preamp or processor to enhance the bass?

    Go to www'ultimatetone.com

That is the Unofficial ADA homepage. You will also find patches for your pre-amp, and all sorts of other technical info.
