    What's the difference between a Washburn AB10 and a AB20?
Is it OK to put an V-Bass GK p-up unit on a (semi)acustic bass such as Washburn AB 20, Yamaha BEX or Godin A4?
  2. I don't see why not. The external GK unit & pickup fasten by adhesive and the pickup doesn't touch the strings.

The only downside i can see is that it might dampen some of the body vibration (but i doubt it), second you'll have the controller unit attached to either the face, bridge or strap of your bass, something to think about.

You wouldn't be able to use phosphor bronze strings with the GK2B, but other than that you should be fine with putting it on an ABG.

If you have steel core strings on there, you should be good to go.
