    Hi all

The strange subject lines comes from the fact that I noted that the GK-2B pickup w. 13 pin cable for the V-Bass seems identical in function (but with a different design) to an old Yamaha B1D pickup (for a G50 Guitar/Bass MIDI converter) I have previously retired. They seem to work for either system, possible the output is a bit hotter with the B1D. Does anyone know if the pickups are bassically the same or similar enough that I may use the B1D as a second V-Bass pickup without hurting something?

    Thanks

yeah, to the best of my knowledge everything with the 13 pin out has the same pin layout, so it's interchangeable. roland developed the standard in the 80's and everyone else uses it.

Great! Possibly the first time I get some use out of retired equipment ...and the pile seems to never stop growing... :)
