V-Wah or KORG PX4B

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by heath_the_great, Jul 17, 2004.

  1. well, tax return on its way so im gonna splurge on a new pedal, the old zoom 506 is kinda dying...and i was thinking of either a V-Wah or a Korg PX4b, i only ever really used an auto wah and the occasional bit of slight overdrive so the V-Wah looks pretty sweet, but after looking at the korg i was thinking it could be used for silent practise, drum machine and phrase trainer it looks like a nice little unit.....i can test the v-wah sometime this week, but the korg will have to be ordered in, i tried the dunlop bass wah and i didnt like how the infra red on that operated, it might of been the one i tested but it lagged a bit when you started to use it....

The VWah and Korg are both great, but it depends on the usage.

The Korg is a great practice tool, but not so great for live usage - tricky to operate live, and it's kind of noisy.

I have and use the V-Wah, I really like it.
