First, let me stress -- I DON'T WANT TO SELL THIS BASS, BUT MY CURRENT FINANCIAL SITUATION FORCES ME TO DO SO!

This is Valenti Basses Serial No. 135, and this is the bass ....

    https://www.facebook.com/newsbuster...43917635.31398.100002762929402&type=1&theater

Here is the listing from the Valenti website (it's the top bass on the page) ....

    http://valentibasses15.blogspot.com/

From the Valenti website, here are the specifications, with aditional information added by me:
    VTJ5 #135
    Weight 8.6lbs
    Specs:
    • Swamp Ash Body
    • Vintage Tint Finish
    • Graphite Reinforced Maple Neck
    • Maple fretboard
    • Pearl Blocks w/White Binding
      • 34" scale length
    • 1-3/4" Nut Width
    • Nordstrand Big Split Pickups
      • Sadowsky preamp with VTC and 18v. power supply (takes two 9v. batteries)
    • White pickguard - with spare tortoise pickguard
    • HipShot Vintage Bridge
    • HipShot UltraLite Tuning Gears
    • Dunlop straplocks

It is currently sporting the tortoise pickguard, but I will also include the white one, and a spare set of strings that Nino supplied with the bass (it has stainless roundwounds on it currently; the "spares" are nickel rounds).

This bass has great playability, and it has an absolutely killer tone (loud & deep to "growly" as heck, with a great tonal range). Even in passive mode, those Nordstrand pickups are powerful!

Other than a few very light marks on the pickguard, and one tiny surface "dent" that is less than 1/64" deep and no bigger than 1/16" long, the bass is pristine.

Nino shipped it in a TKL gig bag that offers only minimal to moderate protection. This bass is currently available to see and play (and hopefully to buy) at Bass Specialties in Bensalem, PA .... Please contact Glenn Marrazzo at 2846 Street Rd.

what's the string spacing on this bass?

  13. Ooh, nice. How is the balance - is it neck heavy?

There is no neck dive whatsoever with this bass.

As I suspect you have noticed, this bass has been placed on consignment and may be seen and played at Bass Specialties in Bensalem, PA.
