As stated in my other for sale thread, I've decided to let go of any gear that doesn't get regular use. This bass is absolutely gorgeous, however I have fallen hopelessly out of love with 5 strings. If any bass could get me back to the world of 5 strings it would be this one, but alas I don't think it's in the cards for me at this point.

Plain and simple, this bass is in absolute mint condition. I don't believe it has even left the house more than 3 times since arriving. Here are the specs, per when I originally ordered it:

    35" scale
    Swamp Ash body
    Maple neck
    Birdseye maple board
1-7/8" nut width, 12" fretboard radius
    '59 burst finish
    Nordstrand NPJ5S pickups
    Sadowsky preamp w/VTC
    Chrome hardware
    Hipshot ultra lite keys
    Hipshot vintage bridge, 19mm
    Black 3 Ply Pickguard
Weight: Less than 8.5 pounds on the bathroom scale!

Comes with a ProTec hard walled soft case.

It sounds amazing, feels amazing, and is extremely light. I remember asking Nino to get me a light piece of ash, and he delivered. The Sadowsky pre sounds great, although I currently have the battery pulled and have been playing it passive. There's very little I'd consider trading for (Wal Mk3 4 string, Zon BG4), and a straight sale is preferred. Thanks for looking, let me know if you have any questions!

    Howdy. Looks like active/passive, but it's a 9-volt system?

Correct! The Sadowsky pre is 9V, active / passive with VTC.
