What do you people call them??????
Roehre. As my mother-tongue is German
I just say "Eden"!
"Valve"..... It's more descriptive of what the device actually does..
Then what do you call that little glowing thing in the Eden pre-amp???????
"that little glowing thing in the Eden pre-amp"
Tubes. If you say "valves" then you must be one of those weirdos from England
I call them "preamp tubes" so they won't be confused with that cardboard thing that toilet paper is rolled on! Actually the Brittish term "valves" in much more descriptive than "tube".
"English weirdos"? Oh you must be talking about the likes of Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, John Entwistle and Paul Denman. And then there is a certain English gentleman with the last name of Marshall that knows a thing or two about valves.
Ha! I know you were kidding!
Bruce Lindfield, email me please.
Tube. Valve is where I work. . .
Valve as in the company that created Half-Life??
That would be the one.
Heck... everyone know it an all valve tube amp... right?
Sorry, I was laughing so hard I couldn't type!
Valve. "Tube" is a mode of travel used by the "English weirdos" who live in London.
