I didn't really pay attention to the latest VH album since Roth's voice is wasted but this popped on the radio and I really love it. Great groove, cool runs through the bass tone isn't so great
Fun fact: They wrote this song before they released their debut album. It's a VERY old song. Check out their ep "Zero" which was recorded by Gene Simmons. Some familiar tracks and licks all through the collection. How and why do I know these things...
IIRC a lot of the songs were old demos that EVH had from the original DLR lineup. Was actually Wolfgang Van Halen's idea to do that. I know for sure that Outta Space and Bullethead were unused demos from yesteryear. As Is, Honeybabysweetiedoll, and Chinatown sound like they were written for the album, and You and Your Blues sounds like it was written during the Hagar years.
