    Hey all

So here's a shout out to all the wags I seem to encounter here on Talk Bass

I've bought a toy for my impending midlife crises, best be prepared I say.

It's a car, a Mustang to be precise. No hatin' here I've no kids no mortgage, no wife and apparently no hope of ever landing one, so screw I give up on that and I'm having fun.

Yes it really is all about me from now on.

So I thought, hell why not a vanity plate?

Then I drew a blank, actually I'm overloaded with choices but they're all muddled up and just don't seem, well, right somehow.
This is where you come in. I'd like suggestions if you please

Rules, yes they suck but in this case we have to have them

8 characters. no profanity real or implied, gotta be publicly acceptable.

Clues/leads: Car is black, obviously I'm a bassist, into the heavier and darker side of music though by no means exclusively.
Prog and 'Space' rock are also in the mix

Band Names I think should be disqualified, songs however....

The possibility of a prize IF there's a winner. I'm thinking a killer pack of strings like say the new Cobalts, 4's not 5's, how's that?

    Next.........

    :D

:D Ya'll are making this SO hard.

Then.....let's go park on the beach and pretend we know each other for a few days. You can get a new license plate when you get back to wherever you're from today.

    ;)

  13. One of my running jokes is: I want to get a vanity plate that says "VANITY"

  14. So is it a V8 or a V6? Are you planning to add some HP to it with add-ons? Supercharger? If you're going mid-life crisis, go big, I say.

That way you could get a plate that invites young guys to try to out-run the "old man" in the 'Stang. Of course, you must, must, must keep it looking as stock as possible, for the sleeper effect.

How about you do that Pony car up right, get some serious quicks going and have this plate: "try it" ?

I'm not sure 'downlow' would be a good choice. Might bring unwanted attention.

  16. And "bottoman" wouldn't?

  17. I got this:

Hey, it's 8 characters, and loosely related to things bass-like. That was the criteria. ;)

    I like BTTMBURP too.

Just use four or five characters. The people who try to jam in all eight sometimes make it too difficult to decipher, and I almost run off the road trying to figure out what they mean.
