    .......it's hard to sell any of these instruments but taxes killed me last year....and due to a financial hardship...these elite boutique instruments need a new owner...!
    FYI all basses are subject to OBO...

    ALL of them are really nice. I really like the Surine. I had one of Scott's semi-hollow fretless 6's for a time. Sorry to hear you've had some hardships. Best of luck with the sales!

    And it looks like Ken used zebrawood for the strips between the neck and the wings. I'm not sure how many he made like that but I've not seen many. Very cool.

    Good eye..!!!

    I was looking at it the other day....and it is zebra wood strips.
    Those early 89's through 1992's have the best exotic woods...! IMO.

    Not that I'll necessarily ever be able to afford one, and I'm not that enamoured of the boutique builders for the most part (I generally love me a good budget/sleeper bass), but some day, if the stars align, I'd love a Surine...:drool:
