    Price:
    2300.00
    Strings:
    5
    Location:
    Texas
Beautiful Veillette singlecut 5 string for sale. Weighs 8.2 lbs. Super fast neck for a 5 string. Made by master builder Joe Veillette in Woodstock NY. Just got in a trade and I would like something closer to a jazz style bass. Asking way less than what bass is worth. Sells for 3800.00 and change on website. Comes with Veillette bag.
    Specs are:
Chambered poplar body with Maple Burl top
Maple neck with Pau Ferro fretboard
    34"scale length
    19mm bridge spacing
    Aguilar DCB pickups
Audere 4 band preamp 18 volts
    Volume/blend, Hi mid/low mid, treble/bass
    Gotoh gb350 ultralight tuners
    Hip shot A bridge
    Graphite rods in neck
    Zero fret
A small spot on the top of the headstock and a couple of small rub marks and light swirls is the only thing I can find keeping it from being mint, cannot get them to show up on picture. Pics are from previous owner. I will post more pics later. Thanks and have a great day.

I’m digging that headstock. It seems different than typical

Tilted back. A lot of guys are doing this now. Helps with sustain and playing open strings.

I think it is aluminum. No marks on it and sounds like it when I tap on it. No mention on web site either

Let me sleep on it - I assume it plays as it should - will accommodate low action - two way truss rod?

Nothing is wrong with bass. It has graphite rods in neck it is fast and smooth. And truss rod works perfectly. It is the best made bass I have ever owned or played. Joe Veillette is the man. You won't be sorry. Thanks for the inquiry.
