Does anyone have any experience with these basses? Also, their website (www.vigier.fr) doesn't have any prices listed.
I'm really diggin' the Passion series, but I wanna know how much one of these would cost me.
    Any help?

I´d seen Gezzer Butler playing Vigier basses, so if the father of metal bass plays´em, they have to to be good.:D

Wow! Ok, that's COMPLETELY out of my league. :)

Although, at basspalace.com, they've got 1990s Vigier Passion for $999. It's a very ugly olympic white, but paint would help that. :)

The Excess model (only available in 4-string) is great, and much more affordable than the Passion (starting at 1.495 EUR). The Excess is the model played by Roger Glover.

  9. bass player in "live" also uses one.

  10. I've had two--an Arpege bought from Alphonso Johnson and a Passion from some Kooky British cat in LA--and liked them, but not enough to keep them.
I've posted reviews on H-C and bgra.net. Will happily answer any specific questions.

Gallien Krueger for the last 12 years!
I used to own the model that Flodshon posted, but mine was purple with a black p/g. I thought that they were excellent rock basses, with a great slap tone.

    Hey fhodshon,

Thanks for posting those links to Ron's sites! He's a close personal friend of mine & I know he appreciates it when people compliment him & foward his info. He has unbelieveable talent as a musician AND a studio engineer. He's done most of my bands recordings & has a new studio that we're visiting soon as we get the $$$ from our label. If anyone is going to NAMM, make sure you stop & see him, he's a rare breed that you may never see or talk to again in your life...

    later,
    Satan
