Hi, I own a Vigier Passion IV. It´s an active bass and I want to use it in passive mode. I would like to install a switch o a push/pull or similar. Is it possible? The preamp is different to any preamp I have seen. I´m from Spain and I don´t know how to explain it in english, so here is a photo:

    Thanks.

Another way of solve the problem is to install a new preamp. But i really like the sound of the bass.

    Any suggestion?

  6. The problem is that you have PCB mount pots. Trying to add a push/pull pot with an active/passive switch is most likely going to involve having to modify the PCB. This is not easy to do, and in some cases, can cause damage.
