Village Voice Slams Killer Kane Documentary

    <p><img src="http://static.flickr.com/28/55982156_008abe7736_o.jpg" align="right" alt="Killer Kane" />The Village Voice movie reviewer Robert Christgau slams film maker Greg Whiteley's new documentary of Arthur "Killer" Kane, the former New York Dolls bassist turned latter-day Mormon. A few choice cuts:</p>

    <p>"Surely there have been filmmakers who knew less about music going into their first music documentary than Greg Whiteley, but none springs to mind."</p>

    <p>"In the end, this is less a film about a rock and roller than a film about a Mormon. And Napoleon Dynamite it ain't."</p>
