I saw a Dean Markely 1x15 folding horn, and GC for $100 today, and was wondering is thats a good deal. I remember someone posting a pic of an old MusicMan 1x15 that looked excatlly the same as this one. What do you guys think. I'll be running it with my Bassman 135

i have an old V4B cab (2x15 folding horn)
sounds good if you like that fat, thick old school sound, but theres hardly any top end, and you really dont get the full effect of the cab unless youre at the other end of the room. in short, if youre standing in front of it, it pounds, but there isnt much definition. i would guess the cab youre looking at will be about the same. props for san diego too, im moving there in a few months if all goes well.
