This is a sweet old tube PA amp which dates from early 70's, totally rebuilt by TB'er bassmodder. It goes from warm and clean to pretty damn mean when overdriven. All tubes nearly new, A biasing control was added, a nice touch!
It is ready to plug and play with all adapters/cords necessary.
With the right cab you'll have a very credible Ampeg fliptop thing goin' on. This would kick some ass as a guitar amp too, in addition to it's original designed use as a PA w/2 mic channels.

This thing is a gas gas gas! I've had my fun swapping tubes and cranking my 8 string. No issues, no worries, this would be a great intro to tubes or a special purpose amp. I will include 2 matched N.O.S. Ruby EL34's and a couple 12AX7's to play with. $200 + shipping.

Wow, that's very cool. I see that it will support 8, 4 or 2 ohms. Gotta love that kind of engineering from way back then!

How much would shipping to 02139 be, do you think?

Also, is this a stereo amp (if it was designed as a two-channel PA amp)? Or a mono, 50 watt amp?

    Thanks! She's a beauty!

  4. what kind of cables would you need to connect this amp to bass and to speakers? I don't see a single 1/4 output!

  5. I think it's 16, 8, 4.
Best way would probably be to convert a 1/4" or speakon cable to bare wires on one side and simply attach them to the impedance you wanted to use.
Simple to change those XLRs to 1/4" with adapters too, I assume they are included as that's what's mentioned in the ad.

It is mono. I love it, it's like looking under the hood of an old straight 6 Chevy, simplicity! Figure $30 insured to you.

GearHead: Includes a 3 pin to 1/4" w/ female adapter for your input. The speakers connect with an included 1/4 to split shoe end cord. 1 goes to 'common' and the other to your desired ohm output. These all work fine, but if you were using this on a regular basis you might want to do permanent mods.

Hmmm, $30, not bad! Any ideas on size/weight?

It is 14 X 10 X 5. I get 21 lbs. on my cheapo scale. The transformers are hefty.
