I recently went into a store with no immediate intention to buy anything and walked out with this Cameo bass and an upscale Egmond (Holland) acoustic guitar. The bass has been played as evidenced by just "honest to God" wear but the frets are great. Maple neck, rosewood board, there is a slight crack at the E tuner (easily glued and clamped although stable. Sen Ash body, single coil pickups, one know is cracked (all of the aforementioned- see photos...) Matsumoko joint... What stands heads above on this bass is, it is a short scale (30") but, given that "disadvantage", it sounds like a bass- very much like a bass... As opposed to an oversized guitar with big strings on it! Totally recordable and even tourable (solid)… A marvel!! Weighs about 8.5 pounds... No case or bag but pro packed with strings loosened... $150.00 shipped in the lower ConUs.
Low as I will go for this dude. If it doesn't sell within a reasonable time frame, lol, I will give it to my ex-wife's new husband, owner and operator of Hit Hard Studios in Radford Virginia. That way, he will have a great sounding bass that any halfway hack guitar player (can I say that here?) can make sound good...
Please, anyone listening- use the PM contraption! I don't live on here but do check email 2-3 times a day... 1.5" on the nut width. Thanks!!!
still available... Edit 6/24: I paid more than this for it not including the shipping aspect. I have $125 in it. I bought it to resell. It's that good. Good luck with my sell. Good luck to some lucky buyer. I mean that.
