So, I was digging in a box and found pickups that I removed from a modified '77 Fender Mustang that I wanted to return to it's former glory...

So I have these vintage DiMarzio's and I would like to use them in another bass where the cream would work better as far as the looks of the bass...

Each has two wires... One has a white wire and a green wire... The other has a black wire and a red wire.

I looked on line, and couldn't find the way to wire them.. The bass has a volume pot and a tone pot.. that's it...

Any insight would be awesome.. my apologies if this is the wrong place to ask - meaning the wrong board..

    Thanks!!

  2. Wire it like a P bass.

  4. That's the standard color code for DiMarzio pickups. Green goes to ground, red goes to the volume pot, and the black and white wires should be soldered together.
