I'm in the market for some oldschool tone. Saw some old Eden 15's for sale, never saw these style cabs before. They say Eden Electronics Inc, they look very old and have the black plastic wrap versus the black fuzzy carpet wrap the new cabs use. The cabs are vented and I do not see a horn of any kind, the speaker is grey in color. Can anyone chime in and tell me about these? How do they sound? What were the ratings of the old cabs? I looked around online and could not find any info on them. Thanks!

Thw answer I got on the Eden Foru was they were old Early 80's Eden PA speakers. Guess Eden was in the PA business before making a nme for themselves with bass gear. I didn't get it because of the age.

And because a PA speaker isn't designed to handle bass guitar anyway.

i'm betting 200 watts @ 8 ohms. eden was originally a pa co. Pa speakers can be great for bass. try em. you may like them. IIRC, the 1st speaker eden sent to swr was a fifteen with a horn as ordered, the 410 with horn was sent to swr as a "see if you like this" afterthought. the fifteen in the cabs you're looking at may be the same.
