This bass is a 1981 G&L L-1000 neck on a 1983 G&L SB-1 body. It's a good player, but has been gigged plenty and shows it. It got checking, dings, and play wear o plenty. There is a little fret wear from when it wore rounds, but it has a set of Fender flats on it currently. Weighs in at 8.8 lbs. I think the color is viking blue. Basically it's a great player grade vintage G&L at a low price. Ships in a Fender gig bag. $550 shipped/pp.

I'm pretty sure that I'm in love.
I might have to put another bass up for sale...

Ridiculous price. Anyone passing it up needs to get their head checked. Argh. If only.

Nut width is 1 5/8 inches. I'd call the profile on the slim side of medium C.

I'd guess poplar. The back of the neck is fairly clean, but there are a few smaller imperfections.

It certainly is now! A lot of Viking Blue aged to Belair Green.
