Vintage G&L L-1000 - WunK - For Sale

    So, Sold the L-2000e and now the WunK is up for grabs. This L-1000 I have is pretty sweet. As you can see from the picks it's in amazing shape for it's age. Has an Ash body, maple fretboard (nice checking on the head-stalk), and the Transparent Blue finish. The hardware was "pre" black paint, so It is most likely a 1980, maybe 1981... (Chef..?)

    by the serial number, should be 1981
    1981 should have slot pole pickups (adjust height with a flat blade screwdriver, not allen wrench)
    1980 would have large hole hex pole
    1982-on would have smaller hex hole

    everyone else is gonna ask "what's it weigh," so you might as well get that outta the way ;)

    Super clean! The early blue finishes had a tendency to fade to a really rich teal color. That looks great, no fadeout. And 10 lbs? Right on the money for the era.
