anybody have one of these? do you know what year they are? pretty uncommon, right? treena?
In the 1990's fender reissued these necks, they were rare and are rare as far as vintage goes though.

The green custom Jazz that's in my avatar has a Lasido V-shaped neck modelled after those old Fenders. Quite unusual; nice feel, I like it.
I owned a Pedulla Rapture J2 5 string with a soft V profile. It didn't have a pronounced ridge like the vintage Fenders, but you could tell it was V shaped. Very comfortable neck.
I just bought a no-name fender jazz copy that sounds great~ it's got a very pronounced V shaped profile that gets flatter towards the upper registers. It's great for grabbing the neck and diggin in for some root-five riffs, but it's a tough neck for agile playing. Guess it'll take some getting used to...
Just thought it was interesting cuz i haven't seen any jazz copies with this type of vintage style neck.
