Hi, I used to play the upright bass in high school want wanted to get started again with an electric. I came across this one, here i like the look, but has anyone played one before? I'm trying to stick to the jazzy feel.

About a year ago I played bass on a friends album. My friend is a big Beatles fan so I had a vintage Hofner, a Hofner Cavern reissue and a Rogue Hofner copy. I played all three (along with a Rickenbacker, an Alembic, a Pedulla and a Rickenbacker). Of the three Hofner basses the Rogue was the easiest to play and sounded the best. My friend bought it from Musicians Friend online for about $399. Unless you want the vintage vibe or just a collectable bass I would look at the Rogue copy. Just my two cents.
