I have a 1977 SVT that has a noisy fan. I replaced it with a new fan and it's still noisy. Has anyone found a quiet 119mm fan that pushes 54-112 CFM that doesn't sound like jet taking off?

It's been almost thirty years since they designed this amp and I have to believe there are quieter fans that can do the job.

Look at Vantec stealth fans, aloth it'll be 120mm im sure it's close enough a fit! it doesnt have the highest CFM tho, its ~53 CFM, there are other ones that will have a higher airflow but will be louder

    It is not the fan.
It is the construction of the fan to the grill.
Mount the fan on, at least, 6mm spacers and fill the gap between the fan and grill with foamtape. The jet-noise wil disappear. :)
A more drastic solution is cutting a hole in the grill and cover it with a finger guard. Look at the SVT-VR back.

With this contruction the cooling will also be much better.
