I have a pretty cool mini tobacco burst Precision Bass from the 70s or 80s. It is unmarked other than Japan stamped on the neck plate. It is around 25"-25.5" scale. It has a mahogany body and a maple neck with maple finger board. The previous owner had stickers with their daughter's name on the headstock, which I removed. You can still see a ghost outline of Amanda from the yellowing of the finish. The headstock is shaped like a Yamaha PB-400, so I'm guessing it may have come out of the same factory, maybe. The neck is straight, the truss rod works, the action is pretty good and the intonation is pretty good. When I plugged this in, it blew me away. It sounds HUGE!. Overall in very good condition with a few bumps and bruises. There is signs of the some finger board shrinkage on the treble side. Check out the pictures for more details. I'm asking $250 shipped to the CONUS. I'd take a 5 or 6 string Acoustic bass in trade and I'm open to interesting amp trades. Let me know what you've got. Thanks for looking.
Where are all the short scale 4 string players? Someone make me an offer for this cool shorty and big sounding P. If it had at least one more string, I'd keep it.
Where are the short scale lovers? Can't get much shorter than this. Lowered the price and would take a 5 or 6 string Acoustic Bass in trade. Anyone?
