Visual Sound H20 Or Small Clone

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by Ka_Ve_86, Mar 4, 2008.

  1. Ok so on the weekend i tired a H20 pedal and i loved it with the echo aswell it made this beautiful lush sound... But i have also heard the the EHX Small clone is a really good chorus pedal aswell just wondering who has what and peoples opinions on them both...

And while where at it i also put an ebs octabass against a MXR Bass octave m-88 pedal and the mxr beat the ebs in everyway...

So please peoples opinions on a good chorus and a octave pedal for my set-up..

I tried an H20 as well. I loved the chorus. Much better than my Boss CEB-3. I am tempted to buy it but I don't really need the Echo part.
  3. I've got one of the original H20s (without the "lush" switch) and I LOVE it. It is the thickest, most organic sounding chorus I have ever used and the echo/delay part of the pedal is great too. It doesn't have tap-tempo (which would be nice) but it is a very useable analog-style delay.

I also have one of the original H20's. It is the best chorus I have found thus far. And the echo is a bonus. I say go for it.

+3 on the original H2O. Very rich sounding chorus. I also have a Small Clone. It's not terrible, but I think the H2O sounds better.
