VMT Deluxe (V2) VS Vulcan Xl

    Not wanting to look into the politics of the whole darkglass and Pike thing, just wanting to know if anyone has tried both and how they compare and differ to each other, cheers

    I have had B7K - now i use Microbass II and look for Vulcan Pre/Di. B7k is good... but it is not my kind of sound.

    He was asking about VMT Deluxe, not B7K XD

    That being said, the VMT Ultra(same sound as Deluxe V2, but more eq options) is what I had but sent it back, as the B3K/B7K is more my sound.

    But still we have nobody that tried both a new VMT Deluxe or Ultra AND the Vulcan post yet.

    Yeah I expect there's not many people that have, really interested in their sonic differences

    Ive got big love for my Vulcan XL, for me from sound demos as i havent played the vmt or b7k it does sound dif, its has a warmer feel than the 7k but maybe less valve like to the vmt.

    id say you could have a vmt and xl on your board.
