    Only to keep the peace, It's not like anyone here(admin or mods) are sticklers, But if you don't follow the rules then why come here?

    This is a privately owned site, don't like it you can leave.

    if you want a good example of how a forum without such rules and stuff operates...check out tabcrawler or Guitar.com

    that said, welcome, hope you enjoy it here, there are some great people here, and more information than you can throw a stick at.

    I guess the rules do indeed serve a purpose. No one wants to go post at such a place as tab crawler. This is actually the best forum ive ever been on!
