volume in tapping

Discussion in 'Technique [BG]' started by ludwig109, Mar 10, 2006.

  1. im trying to get better at two handed tapping but i cant get any volume from my left(usually fretting hand). anyone got any ideas to help other than a compresser as it doesnt sound as good. right hands fine and loud.
    thanks in advance
  2. Practice.

What you need to do is get all your left-hand fingers to strike with the same force. That takes strength and control, and that only comes with practice.

Devise yourself some routine that utilizes all of the fingers of your left hand. It doesn't need to be complex, dextrous, or fast; all that will come later.
  3. thanks ill do that. was hopeing for a quick fix but oh well

also can anyone recomend some begginer two handed tapping songs something melodic but not too hard?
