Does anyone know of a volume pedal that allows you to adjust the starting volume? Meaning, rather than the up position being no volume, you can set it to anywhere between no volume and max volume? What I want is a volume boost, but one I can control gradually, and then be able to go back to the exact staring volume again.

Hmm, not quite what I'm looking for, but very cool nonetheless.

Have you considered the DIY approach: take a standard volume pedal and glue some rubber grommets underneath the heel plate so it physically stops the pedal at the desired volume?

    Bingo...thank you Steve Vai

  7. I use this one. Cheaper than the Morley and holds up very well. It doesn't use a string like an Ernie Ball either, it has a gear and piston setup, very useful and easy to care for for. I say go for this one.

With a MIDI FX setup, the Gordius Little Giant will allow you to take any Expression/Volume Pedal and set it up in all kinds of complex ways. You can change the range of values, and you can change the curve(greater change near the heel or toe). You can have it "flip switches" at the heel and toe positions. And of course, you can have it affect any controllable effect parameter(s) your MIDI FX are capable of.
