  1. Ok TB'ers here are four different designs for the tuners on my new 5 string.

    Option #1 traditional 3 and 2

Option #2 2 per side and one on the top

Option #3 2 per side and one on top but it looks like a little guy doing jumping jacks.

Option #4 Jumping jacks but no head.

Please vote quickly I will be installing these this weekend.

  2. sorry I was hoping the picture would show up in the thread. please open the file attached to the first message.

I like 3, because I've always wanted a style like that, ALWAYS!

Wouldn't the ones on top in #2 and #3 be difficult to tune? They look cool, but how practical will they be?
  7. Hmm... I was going to default to #1 but I am feeling adventurous.

I say #3 with another one or two "dummy" tuners thrown in there to confuse people.

If you don't care about practicality, neither do I. NUMBER THREE!

Call me traditional but I'd go with 1. Actually, I'd have all the tuners angled back a little toward the body, like ken smith basses.
  11. I think the idea of #3 is pretty intriguing, but I wouldn't want to have to reach that far to tune the string. Also, which direction would it turn? It does kinda look like a dancing man, though. Still I'd choose #1.
  12. THREE! guy doing jumping jacks!!!
  13. #3 for sure.
  14. Number Three looks fine to me............#3!

Is that a 13 angle Warmoth 5er neck?

Those were my thoughts, too. Go traditional. Looks the best, too.

You guys are sick :p #3? No way!

#1 and #2 look pretty much the same, maybe keep the tuners angled Warwick-style.
