    I'm about to order a bass, and was wondering what people thought about the two finish options I have narrowed it down to. The bass will be a jazz body, PJ style, with blocks on the neck and matching headstock.

    Also please admire my MS paint skills adding the pickguard to the turquoise bass

    Also, how do people feel about the flamed maple top. Does it make that much of a difference?

    I LOVE Greenburst and blueburst finishes, someday I will own one.

    You want green to black or aqua to black.
    I am not a fan of the black edge burst. Nothing personal.
    But what about green flake if you aren't going for a transparent finish? Then add a white marine pearl pickguard.
