Have any of you played these amps and what would they compare to or sound like?

My brother used to have one, used as a guitar amp.

For geneal sound, think AC30, but very warm. Listen to some early Beatles stuff, before thay got the Fender deal. Macca used to use one, along with the AC100.

It also has 2 completetly independent channels, bright and normal, each with individual master volumes. I found my cheap old bass I had then sounded better through the normal channel. this also means if neccassary, a guitarist can plug in and jam with you, to get a vintage hank marvin type sound.

My brother sold his, mainly due to size and lacked volumes when played clean, also endless grief with the rectifier circuit. This was fixed, but it cost hima fair bit. But then again he did only pay £50 for it to start with.

Oh yeah, it should come with a frame/stand, the head isn't really supposed to sit directly on top of the cab.
