I just got a MB LMIII and 2) GK neo112 cabs, and I was thinking of adding a VT to the mix. Is it a good match for the GK speakers, there was talk that some speakers work better with it than others?
VT Bass or VT Deluxe is the deluxe worth the added 100 plus $? How does the Deluxe work as a pre amp or did I read that wrong?
Do you place your VT in front of the amp or in the effects return?
New to the pedal thing, heck, new to everything!!
    Thanks

vt is a great match for everything. i'm getting a vt deluxe so i can program a couple different shades of overdrive + plug an upright into it and eq it separately. if you only need one sound on the gig, i'd get the regular vt. and i always put the vt in front, as all effects should be run except for preamps you want to defeat your head's preamp.

Yea, I'm mostly into one sound, looking for the hard driving blues tone, in your chest punch, etc, so the regular VT should do well. When the VT Deluxe hits the market there should be a glut of VT Bass getting kicked to the curb?! Well mabee not.
    Thanks for the info.

Yep, Start watching the for sale section, I have already traded mine, but there will be more.

I agree if you are going for pretty much one sound the regular VT will work fine.
