Basically that's the question, could I use this pedal as a headphone amp?

For $60, Mike Putnam will mod Tech21 pedals to add a headphone driver circuit and jack.

Another option is to pair the preamp pedal with a wired IEM/more-me box like the PM351. Feed output from the preamp pedal to the instrument input. Feed line-level audio to the monitor input from your laptop, mp3 player, or mixer aux send(s). If you sing, you can also pass your mic input through the unit to the mixing board. That'll let you independently control levels for those three sources to blend your own mono or stereo 'phones mix.

You can velcro the VT Bass on top of the Rolls, and have a compact unit for practice sessions, rehearsal rooms, or live stage IEMs.
