Wah/Chorus Restriction

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by Marcap, Dec 29, 2002.

  1. I just bought a CEB-3 Chorus pedal (very nice!). However the instruction manual says that you should only use specific expression pedals with the device or it could cause damage (suprise, they say to use only Boss wah pedals). I have a Dunlop Crybaby 105q. Will this wah do any damage to the the corus or is Boss just trying to sell me theirs? Does it matter which i put first in the chain?

  2. it will do no damage and doesnt really matter what order... i would recommend chorus last in the chain though...

My DOD FX-17 wah/vol/CV expression controller does not work w/ my Boss pitch shifters. I think it doesn't go all the way to +5v, so I don't get the full parameter range, which is very bad for pitch shifting (unless you love sliding up a major 7th instead of an octave). It probably wouldn't be a big deal w/ chorus.
