Wal bass in Dallas

    No time for links, but there is a WAL bass on the Dallas Craigslist. I'ts not mine or anything, but I thought there may be some interest on this forum..

    Seems a lot to me, could get a new one for £2000, those were the days.

    You mean, you used to be able to get them for that. Those days are looooong gone.
    And when production starts back up with the new builder, they're going to be double that.

    These sorts of things...I dunno, there's just no logic. The 70's were a terrible time for Fender, but look at what the '70's Fenders go for today.

    the prices will go up on the used market, or for the new basses, relative to the previous prices for new wals?

    Yes... I had one on order from Wal, can't remember specs but I had to cancel... was quoted £2000 though... damn. This was about three years ago.

    I'm talking the new ones. They're suppose to get into the same price range as new Foderas.
    I don't know how this will affect the used market. But I think it will remain strong though...
