Ok I`m new to all this ,but when I get my walkabout and I start gigging and maybe need to use the direct output to (FOH)
do I have to worry about this phantom power messing up my new amp?
    :bag:

I just read the post on phantom power.

I also know nothing about return and send, post and pre and what not. Never had a good amp with all this stuff. I sure hope the manual will help me.

ok I think I got it now-I`ll get a Radial Bassbone ,JDI or such for added protection .

  2. Post basically sets the DI output so that it sends whatever eq adjustments you do on the amp, to the FOH. If you use it set to Pre, it will send your signal to FOH without adding your amp eq adjustments.

as for the phantom power issue, I have no experience with that specific amp but until you know for sure, rather use a separate DI just to be sure

    Thanks

  4. I thought all Walkabouts only have a POST DI send?

  5. only time I ever used one as supplied backline in a studio for a tv spot, I used a DI before it because thats what the engineer prefered

walkabout di is post eq only.
